Welcome to Voicetrax

Let Voicetrax be your guide along the path to the exhilarating, imaginative world of voiceover . . .

When Samantha Paris founded Voicetrax twenty years ago in a tiny home studio converted from a hall closet, she never imagined that her one-on-one coaching sessions for local voice actors would someday evolve into the nation's premier voiceover training academy.

Today, Voicetrax offers the most comprehensive course of voiceover training anywhere—a rotating curriculum of over 100 different lectures, workshops, and seminars for students at all levels—from novice to experienced working pros. Voicetrax students study with many of the most renowned experts in the industry—leading directors, actors, casting directors, producers, and agents—and get an opportunity to experience the camaraderie that is found exclusively at Voicetrax.

At all levels, the instructors at Voicetrax—who come from both Los Angeles and San Francisco—are considered to be among the very best. They are dedicated to their craft, and excited to share their knowledge, proven methods and techniques with Voicetrax students—or anyone else who would like to stretch their creativity, enhance their speaking skills or embark upon a unique journey. These accomplished individuals have years of industry experience and countless awards to their credit. (But don't take our word for it, see for yourself. Biographical information for each of them is included in the Guest Directors section.)

Many former and present Voicetrax students can be heard all over the airwaves—in network promos, commercials, feature-length films, cartoon series, video games and documentaries. Notable projects recently voiced by Voicetrax-trained actors include: promos for MSNBC; recurring characters on animated series including “Rugrats All Grown Up,” and “Bratz;” ongoing campaigns for major advertisers such as Mervyns’s, California PUC’s “Flex Your Power,” 24-Hour Fitness, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Chevron; and featured roles in best-selling EA Games and LucasArts video games.

In concert with its training program, Voicetrax has also successfully established itself as one of the best known voiceover casting agencies in the United States. More and more clients, from coast-to-coast, are turning to Voicetrax to provide them with fresh, well-trained, up and coming talent.(More details on Voicetrax Casting can be found in casting section.)

But there's more to Voicetrax than an unparalleled choice of classes, exceptional roster of“Guest Directors,” and in-demand casting services. Voicetrax is an escape from the everyday world—a fun, creative environment where you can let your imagination run wild while working toward a potentially rewarding new career. It's a place where strangers become friends, students become mentors, and everyone shares in the fun. Come find your voice. Come unlock and explore your creativity.
